MySurvey is a survey company that has recently become very proactive in their search for Canadians to to do paid surveys. They are owned and operated by a market research company called TNS. While they have a company in Toronto, TNS's home base is located in Westgate, London.
As with most paid survey companies there is a minimum balance of points required before you can cash out, but it is fairly low being only 1000 points. Survey participants will build up this balance quite fast as MySurvey sends a high number of surveys to be completed.
Surveys are generally worth between 200 - 400 points and I have personally had a few worth 700 and 800. You will be invited for a number of surveys worth far less, but why would you spend the time doing a survey worth less than $2? I do not bother with these low paying surveys. Not worth my time and I am sure it is not worth yours :)
MySurvey.ca's rewards program is fairly standard but they have been switching it around lately. At the time of writing this post the rewards are as follows:
Cash! Everybody likes cash. Mysurvey pays by cheque sent to the address you provide upon registration (yes, it can be changed after registration) once you reach a minimum of 1000 points in your account. This minimum will allow you to have a $10 cheque sent out.
You can also have cheques sent out in $20, $25 and $50 increments.
You can choose to donate your cash to Unicef's Children's Corners project in Malawi. These donation can only be made in 2000 and 5000 ($20 and $50) point increments. This project's main goal is to help provide support children who have lost one or both of their parents to AIDS. This program also "provides support, nutrition, education and protection to thousands of children through the Malawi Children’s Corners project".
MySurvey has a very diverse selection of gift cards that you can choose from if you would like some of them instead of cash or charity donations.
