Toluna Survey Panel is an awesome survey site that I really enjoy working with. Toluna is a free to join survey site that offers many paid surveys to their registered members.
When you first visit their sign up page you will see that they want the usual information such as a name, password and date of birth, but they would also like you to provide some additional information such as education, marital status and shopping info. They are very quick questions that are answered with a handy drop down bar. Once you fill out that information you will be sent a confirmation email. Confirm by using the link and you are done.
Toluna Rewards Program
When you complete surveys for Toluna you are rewarded points. These points are banked until you choose to cash them in. While Toluna may not have a huge rewards program, it is not at all that horrible. I have seen much worse. One that come to mind is NPD's rewards.
Points can be exchanged for entries into their draws for prizes such as ipads, ipods cell phones or cash. Each entry into the sweepstakes cost 500 - 1000 points. Seriously though, what are the chances of winning?
You are better off saving your points until you can exchange them for cash through Paypal. You will have to save them until you have 60000 points which can be then be exchanged for $20.
I know that 60000 points sounds like alot, but each survey you complete will be worth between 3000 and 15000 points. ($1 - $5)
Surveys are fairly short, taking about 15 minutes to complete, but do not think you will make a ton of money with Toluna. I only get 2 surveys a week. This, however, is enough to guarantee me a cash out roughly every month.
Toluna Product Testing
A cool aspect about this survey company is the fact that they sometimes offer free product testing. All you need to do is write a review of the product they send and you will usually get to keep the item. Sometimes you may need to send some of the high ticket item back, but for the most part you will be able to keep the product you have tested.
I have had no bad experiences with this online survey company. They have great customer support and very simple surveys.
Cons
I would like to see more surveys but I am apparently not a match for as many survey as I would like. I get many more surveys from Opinion Outpost.
